Is this possible, Body fat %?

Ok i joined LA about a 1.5 months ago. My initial body fat was just over 23%, weight at 180lb, 29 years old. I probably lost 1lb, i haven't change much of my intakes, using Creatine and PlasmajET. I check my body fat again today and it show 17%, i was stunned, did i really lost all that?

If you dropped all that you would be able to tell easily in the mirror. What does the mirror tell you?

the mirror or your jeans can tell you a lot!

the handhelds are not all that accurate, there is a lot of pretest guidelines that usually trainers don't tell you about (or they don't know them) in order to make them more accurate, EVEN THEN they are still not that accurate.

    best way to measure

hydrostatic weighing is most accurate. many universities are in need of volunteers to do it so you could get it done anytime relatively easy.

For those numbers to be correct you would have needed to lose 10lbs of fat and gain 9 lbs of muscle over the 6 weeks. Agree with Phate, one or both are wrong.
