    First Injection Soon!

    So, first injection is approaching very soon, getting a bit worried but I guess everyone does. So this is my step by step plan to draw and inject:

    Shower
    Use Hand Sanitizer
    Draw with a 20G 1"
    Tilt the syringe upward and tap it a few times to get the bubbles to the top and slightly press on the pump.
    Change the needle. 25G 1.5"
    Clean the injection spot with an alcohol swab.
    Pin, Keeping it about a few centimeters away from the skin(Is this the standard most ppl use???)
    Next, Pull up on the pump just a little to check for blood (If so, repeat the steps right?)
    Slowly inject. Ill only be injecting 250mgs so should take me about a minute?, I got plenty of time so I will just take my time.
    Then Remove slowly
    Put some alcohol on the injection site, a bandage and polysporn.
    Then done.


    I realize some of this isnt necessary but being safe is my number one concern.
    Any Suggestions???

    where are you injecting............ if your injecting in your butt id use 23g and 1.5" length dart

    I wouldnt put alcohol on the injection site or put polysporn on either.

    Ya, glutes is where its going. And thats all I could get bro is a 25g...

    Why would you scratch the alcohol or polysporn... ?.. Figured this would pretty much kill any chances of infection.

    hey bro i use stridex pads to prep the site. ive never had a probelem.............. and im just siggesting the 23 g...... but need a 1.5" length

    25g seem flimsy to me and may take longer to inject if the oil is thick but you can use them......

    Alright thanks... I'll continue to look around haven't checked many pharmacy's..
    But would anyone else recommend dropping the alcohol and polysporn after the injection???...

    op, just a little over the top, wash hands, sanitize hands, wipe inject area wit alcohol swab, inject, withdraw and press swab over site and massage in for a min or so. done
