    Critique recipe for night-time/mass gainer

Just wanted to get some ideas on how to perfect this recipe for my night-time shake recipe. Trying to keep it relatively low in carbs, high in casein protein and calories, moderate fat. Please add suggestions IF they're logical. Thank you and come again.

    1 Banana (for taste)
    1 cup Cottage Cheese
    1/4 packet Instant Milk
    2 Tbsn Peanut Butter
1 Tbsn Olive Oil (too much fat?)
    Dash of Cinnamon
    2 1/2 cup Milk

Before you blow ur damn lids, I have used a similar variation of this shake for a while with good results. Im a hardgainer (extreme!) and require alot of calories to keep growing. Just looking for perfection, thanks.

Also, this makes 2 servings: 1 taken right before bed and another half way through the night.

And you just blend all that up and drink it down huh? I'll have to try it.

Yes sir. Ever since I incorporated night-time shakes into my diet, Ive seen some rather remarkable growth.

Should've started this a LONG time ago.

Now TOP, do really have to do this man, SH*T! Shake effectiveness, as I always say, is as debatable as politics. But I will save all the B.S. and do this concisely: Im right. LOL.

No really though, what's the big deal here. Educate a brotha.

I,unlike others around here, respect the "whey" protein shake. It has qualities that no foods can match at times, however i dont condone a liquid diet. Im trying to educate you so if you would be kind enough to write down the macro breakdown of this shake you make, it will become apparent why its not such a wonderful idea night after night!!

If that's you in your avatar, you're doing something right. However, like TOP, I would never have this meal, let alone before bed, or tell anyone else to. For one, the fat content is excessive with the olive oil, there is already a full serving via the nut butter. But also, the sugar content via the milk and banana is out of control before bed! I've somewhat recently incorporated a casein shake w/ water and nut butter before bed and have seen what I would call "remarkable" gains, with about 40g less sugar. No dickishness intended but I just wouldn't do it.

No no, you dickesshness is greatly appreciated. YES i am aware of the fat content and YES i am aware of the milks sugar content. The milk however I would like to find a substitute but really need the casein! Casein by itself is just to damn EXPENSIVE. Hell maybe I'll just blend 3 cups of cottage cheese with sum PB, lol. ---eww. Thanks guys.

I'm out of casein and currently doing that. I add some splenda and vanilla and it's actually pretty edible. It is higher cal/fat but for your goals that's fine. As for me, I think I'm gonna get back on the powder today lol.
