Is it bad to take a week off weight training during PCT?

I'm struggling with Tendonitis in my right inside elbow and I need to give it a break. It started a few weeks back because I was still on cycle I kept training. I know it isn't the smartest thing to do but giving the timing I did what I had to do. Anyways, I'm not in PCT and I know my training will be tough over the next few weeks. That being said I'm thinking of taking this week off of weight training. I will still hit the gym 4 times this week with one of them being Muay Thai training. I'm thinking of maybe just going really light and doing cardio to keep things in check. I will still go all out on leg day but on the others I think I'm just going to go a bit easy. I know my body is in a catabolic state right now so building muslce isn't going to be happening but I don't want to lose all my gains. I haven't taken a week off all year so I'm thinking my body can prob. use it. Am I better off dealing with the pain throughout PCT and trying to heal the elbow after PCT or just deal with it RIGHT now?

I posted this here and not in the PCT forum because noone seems to read that.

    Thanks,
    Pete

sounds like youd be better off taking the week off then not doing so.

would you rather take it easy this week and lose 7 days of training or would you rather work through the pain and risk injury and not be able to work out for the next 7 months?

Your not going to loose too much by resting for a week, plus pct workouts should be much easier than while on cycle anyways. Just work around the bad elbow, still work out the other arm and legs.

I've done it before - actually helped me more than anything I believe.
