    I need a workout while on a cycle

    should i be just doing 1 day upper body one day lower body? or should i continue with my 5 day split? reason i ask is because i want to work every muscle as much as i can and while on a cycle doing a 5 day split seems like a waste a bit no?

    Muscles need time to recover also during a cycle.

    i totally agree, but should i try and make a new routine to try and work every muscle more for best results.
    it just seems for example a waste doing chest workouts 4 times on a cycle
    just dosent feel like ill get as good results as i could doing a different routine then a 5 day split. correct me if im wrong though as it is my first cycle and im completely new to cycle routines.

    Imo once a week is enough, but you could do a 4 times split, rest one day and start again.

    I think upper body and lower body workouts will be overtraining, even on a cycle. Four or five day splits between muscle groups would be ideal IMO.
