    Sodium Intake

How much sodium per pounds of bodyweight should somebody ingest in a day?

I know you wanna keep it under control but I also know it is important to have sodium in your diet so you can get pumps and all that good stuff. What is a good balance?

I'm not an expert on this so feel free to disregard me completely but from what I understand there's enough sodium in everything we eat these days that we don't really need to worry about getting more.

Although that probably holds true for what the general population eats the guys in here tend to eat quite a bit cleaner and usually are not in danger of getting too much sodium. They also sweat quite a bit more as well. I usually add in about 3000mgs a day and run it much higher when contest dieting.

To be honest with you, I dont really ever worry about sodium much.
I just drink plenty of water....

only if you were to compete and go on stage maybe you might want to worry about it, but some does not faze them much even if competing.

Personally I have never tried looking to control sodium or watching out for that, I just eat the recommended macros I need to look r1pped and seem to look and work really good.

Sounds right to me. I think in general people who just eat take in far too much sodium but guys on here having better diets and watching what they eat are probably at a good level. Remember most guys on here eat quite a bit and though the foods most of them eat arent junk loaded with sodium their still eating quite a bit and it adds up. On top of that... Chicken is a staple of most diets on here and chicken usually ends up being a high sodium meat even when its "low sodium". I doubt anyone would ever need to worry about sodium unless their doing heavy cardio as part of their regular workouts.

My actual concern is about too much sodium, not not enough. I am planning a cycle with deca in it and I want to keep the bloating and the water retention under control. Does that puts things in perspective a little better?

What do you mean by that? It's easy to learn to love the bloat, when it's your body's bloat...

But the face bloat is not easy to deal with...

I've been away from my hometown for 2 years and now that I came back after the cycle everyone's telling me that I have chubby cheeks...

    Not easy...

Sounds like an issue with bodyfat as opposed to sodium to me.
