How long would you want to be doing 'small' cycles before going heavy on the juice

ok basically i wanted to know exactly how long would some of you reccommend to do smaller or weaker cycles (you know the 500 test 30mg dbol approach) before upping it to something a bit heavier if you wanted to be a competitive bodybuilder and even advance on to being a pro?

At what point do the pros say ok, now its time to really hit it and get some serious size? is it a natural progression or do these guys come to a particular stage where they realise its time to up the dosage?

Cheers for all help on this.

I would say it depends on the person and the results they are seeing with the doses they are using,There isnt a point where someone just jumps on to heavy cycles i would say its more a natural progression depending on what your goals are

P.s you go to the doctors yet?

You need to have the right genetics for that, no matter how heavy you go on a juice.
    Do you have it?

apart from needing amazing genetics to become a pro, ders no real set guidline to how much or when these guys start using boat loads of gear

if you have a look at Lee prist for example, he was probably already on 2 grams of testerone gear by 17 or 18,

    theirs no set guildelines

im on my third week of a 8 week long test prop/winny cycle.

short cycles are better for people that arent building to be muscle "freaks" and want performance, visual or athletic benifits..

goto european bodybuilding forums, mentality is different, they all do short cycles even 2 weeks anadrol cycles after a 4 week test susp cycle.

    pct is easier 2

bodybuilders are always on gear imho, they never come off sometimes and use alot of gh and insulin as well as aas, they use gear while on sarms and use ALOT of hcg beacuse cycles are suuuper long.....

i have a friend at metroflex in dallas, i dont know his whole cycle but i know he uses 150 mg of anadrol per dose and uses 2,000mgs of promobolan in 8 days

ok for an example, what type of cycle would you suggest someone like mike mentzer would have used in the more advanced stages of his career? would you be inclined to believe he was using GH and things like that? or would he just purely be on test due to being an 'old school' pro? What about lee labrada? he looked incredible in his day and didnt have the 'GH appearance' to his physique if you know what i mean.

^there are literally about 1000 threads on here about what the pros used.

    Very few really know.

And those that do know, won't tell.

shoot back then there were less types of test based gear, you can narrow it down but since pct was not done and they had no gyno they used olot of d-bol and dht based gear,,,the only gh in thier system was natty imho, they had what we call now "freak workouts" they did more work than the juice did and probly had elevated levels of igf-1 still.

bb'ing wouldnt be my forte, but the standards are set for the present so i'd doubt if the 80's look would be considered competitive now
