In all honesty.. i tend not to care much about celebrity deaths. On a person to person basis.. death is very tragic. Don't get me wrong, their deaths are very tragic aswell, but i don't give more weight to a persons death because of their celebrity status... or because they were famous. In my eyes everyone is equal, and the death of a homeless man without a name is still of equal value as a celebrity death, because no life is more important than the next... just in my opinion.
I hope noone takes what i say the wrong way.

Good call. There are probably more, but those are the ones that I remembered.

While I have no connection to any of those people, John Travolta and Mike Tyson losing their children really hurts. I always thought of Travolta of a weirdo with his Scientology beliefs, but when I read about his son's passing and how much the 'church' frowned upon his son's disability, I really gained new respect for him. As for Mike Tyson, the guy is really f'ed up, but he always shows love for his kids. RIP to all those to who lost loved ones this year, celebrities or not. Give your kids/families/pets a big hug.

The only people I care about dying are people I know, I really don't give a shit about any of these celebrity deaths. And to be honest I was kind of happy to hear about the michael jackson one.

even tho he died in 2008 George Denis Patrick Carlin made a impact on many people i was lucky enough to see him live 3 times the very last time i went to his show i got to meet him in person after the show i went back stage and with a bottle of 30 year old scotch i gave it to one of his handlers
next thing i know i was told he wanted to meet me so i got to go back and talk to him about 10 mins in he cracks open the bottle and makes us both a drink for 30 mins i was in heaven as this was a man i looked up too for many years

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Peek

Kim Peek. While not known throughout the average house hold, Peek was pretty famous throughout Acadamia and the Scientific community as a mega-savant. Enormous ability to recal memory, Peek could read two pages of an open book at once by each eye scanning down both pages at once and could read books in a matter of minutes/hours.

The film Rainman, was based on this guy.

Jett Travolta - I didn't know he died. I thought he just suffered a head injury on vacation [or something of the sort]

Truly a shame, kid was young.
