Guys, I heard you can drink winny, is this true??

    JUST KIDDING! LOL

Hey guys, just checking in with you all. Don't know if any of you remember me but I used to post here alot and crap. Then sort of stopped posting and stopped coming here about a year and a half ago or so (maybe more, I cant remember).

Anyhow, I just wanted to share with you all a realization i've come to about 4 months ago: juicing is a waste of money. This is my PERSONAL opinion and I hope i'm not offending anyone here, lol. I loved it, love doing it, I think its awesome and such, but to be honest... i've realized it's really a waste of precious dollars. That $1200 you've spent on a cycle (PCT and all) could have been spent on a nice flat screen HD TV that you could hang on your wall and it would be there for years to come. Take that $500 worth of test and spend it on a beautiful tailor made custom suit instead (that's what I did this past summer). Or hell, if you're a college student... save up to pay for your education.

I don't know exactly what it was that made me think this way. Maybe it's a result of being in the personal training industry for the past 2 or 3 years now and seeing all these 20 year old college kids spending fortunes on cycles while they complain they need a better paying job to pay off the bills and pay for school, etc. Maybe it's because i've re-enlisted in the military after a 3 year hiatus and instead of spending $2000 or more a year on cycling steroids, I recently spent about that much on high quality gear I can use in the field (tactical vests, assault packs, etc.) that will last me a long time.

It's been about a year and one month that i've been clean and haven't done a cycle. I still train hard, i'm still fairly big (kept 80% of gains still over a year later after my last cycle) I still read books on steroids, and help anyone out I know with info on how to properly cycle, etc. I love the topic and everything that has to do with it, and that's why i'm working towards studying for a degree in endocrinology (though I may change, that i've been thinking of getting into Virology instead - we'll see). But I guess one day I just realized I could be spending this money on better things. I also asked myself questions and told myself things like "am I going to have this muscle from this cycle when i'm 60 years old? Is my money's worth going to stick around 30 years from now? If not, it may be better to spend this money elsewhere - or save it up."

Will I never do a cycle again? Yeah I probably will do one... once every 3 years or something and just do a basic test-only cycle for 10 weeks or something just for the thrill, but otherwise I really feel that cycling every few months for years is a waste, man. I'd like to know if anyone here feels the same or has come to the same realization?

Sorry for rambling and taking up your time. Just thought I would come back to the forum. How's everyone doing here? Any big changes since I last posted around here?

    Oh, and merry christmas everyone!

    Welcome back !

At your advice I'm going to get 50ml synthrol and skip the expensive cycle .

Use the money I saved to buy a flat chested prostitute .

    Merry Christmas Friend !

Throw in a bit more cash and you can get one that's not flat chested. Better investment than any cycle you can buy.

    Thanks guys! lol.

    Wink

I see both sides of the coin.

As long as the OP is happy with his decision, then I am happy for him.

Ever one is entitled to there own opinion after all.

    Best

To each his own. If I want to buy a big screen I just do a shift or 2 of OT.

Ya...it's called old age...you went through a phase....some guys get married and find thats then end of that.,,,some have kids and say thats the end of that....some get injury and say thats the end of that....some start going to church and say thats the end of that.... boils down to for most,,,you start getting older and don't take care of yourself as much and stop caring what you look like...plain and simple. so spend what you want and look good while you can, if that means buying juice so be it.
