    Mexico

    Hey guys, so im leaving for a vacation on mexico to the mayan riviera, and im wondering what you guys know about getting vaccinated. gonna be staying at a resort, but i know many people recommend getting vaccinated for hepatitis. im pretty sure im up to date on my vaccinations but im wondering your guys opinions on it, as i know there are various sources that one can contract this from (i.e contaminated ice cubes etc.)

    I really do think you should make sure you have all your shots up to date no matter what.

    People get shit everyday state side.

    People get shit everyday state side.
    I went to dominican a few years back and took anti malaria medication before the trip and it made me violently ill the week befor the trip then I was supposed to take another dose the first day of the trip but I never did because I didn`t want to ruin my vacation. To each his own but I am not a big fan of constant vacination and medicating to prevent things. I have had some hep shots which were mandatory when I was in school but I wouldnt do any of them again.

    Dont sweat it bro. I just got back from there Sunday and had no issues. We did the all inclusive thing and the food and water is gtg...if you get a chance take a trip to playa del carmen and check out the drugstores.....youll know what Im talking about if you go.......have a good trip...

    which resort are you staying at? we stayed at Paradisus. It was beautiful!!

    were staying at the Grand Sirenis, looks pretty good, supposed to be all cool architecture and stuff.
