if i take in roughly 50g protein before a workout, and say i workout for only an hour, do i need to have protein right after i finish, or will the 50g preworkout be sufficient hence it was only an hour prior to ending??

I suppose that would depend on the level of intensity you maintain during your workouts, if you are just walking on a treadmill for an 1 hr than I suppose 50 g pre-workout is sufficient, but if you are busting your ass and like training legs and have a hard time walking back out of the gym, then I would not only have a post workout shake I would also incorporate an intra workout drink with carbs from dextrose or waxy maize and some amino.
Hope this can help.
S
it can thank you very much
I personally think that your post workout shake is more crutial than anything preworkout. Like Squatman said it depends on how intense your workout is for that day. However, I always sip on bcaas during training and follow up with pwo shake/fats immediately after training.....been working out good for me......jmo....
