I'd like to know the answer to this as well. I'm starting a cut diet tomorrow and have heard people talking about a refeed day, and raising or lowering carbs on non-workout days.
I have a pretty solid diet in place (I think) but it really only covers workout days (which for me is M-F), so I honestly have no clue what to do on non-workout days other than dropping the whey shake...
definitely not. carb cycling is just an option. It's definitely not the only option
Carb cycling is just another tool that you should have in your diet arsenal. It can be used for long periods of time or just to get through sticking points. It is more beneficial when trying to lose weight and can be done in a large variety of ways.
