To improve core strength ther are alot of various excercises you can do squatting and deadlfting are two big ones which are recognised mainly as leg and back exercises but also bridging for 30 front and both sides hen gradually increasing time as you be one stronger helps, also holding a press up position with ur hands on an inflatable ball I fond great for not only core but shoulder stability

I would HIGHLY recommend Mark Ripptoes Starting Strength program. Did insane things for my strength and size.
    Google is and enjoy!

No offense, but if you're only getting up 110 on the bench, it sounds like you've never worked out or JUST started. This site has a wealth of knowledge; I suggest searching, reading, doing your homework, and pay close attention to the sticky's. Look at other people's routines they have posted.

If you're only putting up 110, pretty much anything you do at this point should increase strength - provided you're eating properly (check the diet section for info on this), working out regularly and resting.

Good luck, keep us posted on progress.

yeah i am pretty weak on that bench press...but fairly average when doing other body parts. its weird. maybe do to long arms is bout all i come up with and weak pecs. as far as diet, i just started to try and regulate that...focusing on my protein intake mainly, i dont count cals too hard right now, and the foods i eat are low in the bad fats....i know me and i wont ever have the perfect diet due to lifestyle and im diabetic type 1. so i try to get at least 300g protein a day, and 3000 to 4000 cals to go with....i think i will go with low reps and higher weight. today i did sets of 4/ 6reps and it felt good and exhausting. i figure when i can do the same weight and step up the reps then i am gettin stronger and can move up in weight....what do ya think
