Do you prepare a week's worth in advance and put in tupperware? Or just a day's worth?

i do 3 days at a time so things stay fresh...i like to use peppers and onions in a lot of dishes so i find after 3 days the veggies are not so good....
It depends on the dish. If I make some sort of stew with braised lean beef and lentils; I'll make enough for 7 days. If it's seared Ahi tuna, maybe just enough for 3 because it's a freshness-sensitive dish. If it's broiled chicken breasts with green beans, maybe 4-5 days. Even if you prepped enough for 9 days, most meals would not spoil - they simply would not be very palatable.
When i am cycling and about two weeks prior to starting i will begin the routine. On sundays i go to my parents house were they have a massive bbq and cook a massive amount of chicken. I also bring my rice cooker and use my parents at the same time to cook a ton of brown rice. It gets old really fast but its cheap efficient and good for you. i use tupperware.
I chuck my ipod in my ears, than may the good times rolls.
But yeah i like to stick to the night before, i love my food as fresh as i can get.
i just grab whatevers in the fridge, usually s can combine something to make up what ratios i need for meals lol
so i spend less then 2minutes
It all depends. I buy a lot of ground beef and turkey. They come in a one pound bag so I usually pan fry up the who bag, throw in some pasta sauce let simmer then package it into 3 glad containers. Each serving has about 40g of protein. Then when dinner rolls around I just cook up some instant brown rice. Also I usually fry up about 6 chicken breasts at a time for my lunch every day and put them in glad contianers also. Luckily I work a pretty standard schedule so cooking isnt a problem, just the meals I need to take to work
