To a degree, i would rather something packed with glucose to help replace the glucose lost in your system through glycosis. Im a fan of energy drinks pre-workouts and/or electrolyte solutions (not gatorade, but the powders bought at chemists/pharmacy's), An apple is the healthier way to go but it provides little glucose per serve, it has a higher concentration of fructose which wont be broken down before your workout (it has a low GI).
In a day i would have 200mcg's of clen and 300-400mg's of caffeine, this helps me stay active all day and night. But if your sensitive to stimulants and have a weak cardiovascular system i would not recommend stacking the two.
Wow, you should really hit some cardio, 160 after squats that's not that good, even with clen mine would top 120 during weights. Cardio is a different story, i try hit and stay at 180.
