    What happens when test freezes?

I had a bottle of test 400 that frosted up a bit. Dont think it totally froze but I'm concerned it may be no good now.

Any know what happens to it?

If it looks ok, probably nothing. Freezing the hormone doesn't hurt it so I wouldn't be worried.

agreed^^^ but i would warm it up and swirl using a hot water bath(i'll explain how to do this if you need me too) to make sure none of the test crashed out or will crash out

a hot water bath is a great way to heat up glass and such to prevent cracking due to more surface area for the heat to distribute(since the vial is going to be partially submerged in water) and because water is very resistant to heat change(think about putting a bucket of water outside in the heat with a piece of metal next to it, which one is going to heat up faster?)

to make a hot water bath put some water in a pan(that has edges equal to or higher than the top of the vial)

heat the water till it is hot, not boiling or anything, just hot, like how you would drink coffee(around 150-160 degrees should be fine)

place the vial in the water and leave it for 5-10 minutes(it takes a while to heat up the oil inside)

when the oil is warmer the viscosity(how thick it is) will be lower so you can swirl it in the vial and make sure there are no crystals

then just take it out and let it cool
