    Unbalanced friend

I have a buddy i just started working out with and I am putting him on my routine to help him build some strength. The only problem is one side of his body is much stronger on the brench press then his other causing and uneven and i would think dangerous lift. Does any have any suggestions or know how to correct that?

Have him use dumbells for bench, instead of the bar...

I agree with MBaraso, start doing benches(flat, incline, or decline) with dumbells. Then u can spot just his weak side under his elbow until it catches up with his strong side. Keep the reps low if he wants strength. Pyramid up to 4-6 reps. Just my opinion.

    Good Luck
