be careful I've heard of bad sides with finasteride regarding sexual dysfunction

Never tried it myself but did ask the same question and got that answer if you do a search it will tell you the same

would u recommend this over fina? im thinking of trying something to save my hair in my next cycle...do these kind of things effect your gains?

Helllll yeahhh, fina messes with your libido and is an oral, **** that...

These are just shampoos that are for early stages of hairloss and DHT cleansing for your scalp.

Thank for all the answer guys. I will try the shampoo for sure and thinking about Finasteride. Might need to talk to my doc about Finasteride see if I can get some.

The 5alpha-reductase inhibitors, finasteride and dutasteride, are associated with erectile dysfunction (ED), ejaculatory dysfunction (EjD) and decreased libido. Prostate enlargement is a common problem in middle-aged and elderly men. First-line medical therapy includes alpha 1blockers and 5alpha-reductase inhibitors (5ARIs), such as finasteride and dutasteride. 5ARI use has been associated with adverse sexual outcomes. These effects occur early in therapy and ease over time. A proposed mechanism for sexual dysfunction involves decreased nitric oxide synthase activity due to decreased dihydrotestosterone. Though theories have been proposed, little is known about the exact mechanisms behind 5ARI-related sexual dysfunction.

Topicals are no where near as good. If you don't have hairloss, I would suggest topicals but have Fina on hand. I suspect you do though...in which case, I would start Fina asap. It may effect some gains but it's not worth losing your hair over.

Side effects are different for everyone. I've been on Duta for a year and 0 sides. 99% of the time, those who have sides will be fine within weeks (max) of coming off Fina. Some claim they never got libido back but I find it hard to believe...I think in those cases, something else is causing it. That's just my opinion.

I used to frequent hairloss boards a lot. Some people regrow a TON of hair. Almost unbelievable. Most will only maintain. Some will go through the shed and gain none of it back. Everyone reacts differently. I will say I have yet to see anyone regrow in the temples. Crown seems to be the easiest with the top being a close 2nd.

I personally had a huge shed on Duta and now a year later, I can see a bunch of small hairs growing in. But from a distance, my hair looks worse. I'm hoping these vellous hairs turn into real hair.

Personally I heard too many bad side stories with the orals so I'll stay away and don't you have to take them for a really long time??

Depends. You have to be predisposed to MPB and it has to be progressing. If that is the case, you will almost certainly shed. Finasteride is more forgiving when it comes to shedding. Dutasteride is the worse

Propecia is very expensive and not covered by insurance. Some people will have their docs prescribe Proscar (exact same chemical, different mg's), which is covered by most insurances, and they cut each pill into 1/4's. If you don't luck out and the Dr.s, order it online....just watch out, I'm sure not every site is legit.

I've been on finasteride for a solid year now at 2.5mg ED. The only sides are that erections feel 90% full, a little less sperm comes out and it does not shoot with the same potency it used to. Sex is still great and libido is always there. Took about 6 months for wife and family to start seeing more hair on scalp. Right now im runnin a testE slingshot cycle and no hair has fallen off.
