    it's kind of a strange theory, but I don't think it's right. How can an economy be solely based on agriculture? look at China there economy is thriving and its based off manufacturing.

    It was right when it was first put into play; back in the 18th century a countries wealth was what its land could produce.

    Now we have industry, and hence its not relevant in today's time.
