Well Done = Pink, Hambers WTF

I bought some preformed beef patties from the shops.
I am bulking so I didnt mind if they were LEAN and they were cheap.
I cooked one just now and I cooked it well.
The more I cooked it the "PINKER" it got.
When it was properly finished cooking it was bright like red pink inside and brown on the outside.
All my life I have never seen beef do anything like this?
What is this thing made off?

ive heard about those, if im not mistaken they are made from people massacred by a man with a chainsaw...in Texas lol

But no maybe they are packed super tight or weird or something so all the heat doesnt make it to the inside? maybe try cutting that bad boy in half and see if it cooks better. Sometimes that helps cook them more thoroughly.

I know the last time I really focused on a big bulk i got so tired of grilling a steak everynight that I would just take it off when i got tired of standing there and just eat it however it was cooked...probably not the healthiest to eat a rare steak but i didnt care when i was that hungry

Well I found out.
I went to the place that makes them and was like:
"this package says beef, ive never seen beef turn pink when you cook it the more you cook it"
She says: "Oh is out seasoning mixture"
Me: "It doesnt say seasoning or seasoned or anything else?, whats in the seasoning?"
Shes goes to get me the 'burger spice bag.
It containers a lot of things I have never heard of as well as MSG, Maltodextrin, and - all sorts of phosphates...
PLUS - Its BRIGHT PINK!
The same colour as my bugers!
Im gonna eat them - but over all i think thats WACK. They should warn ppl there is stuff in there other than beef.
