A long time ago I either read here or on-line somewhere that listed the absorption times for the different sources of proteins. For example, whey protein is absorbed much quicker than casein. Obviously this would be important for those who want to eat the right source of protein at the right times of the day.
A protein shake containing whey protein is great during or right after a workout because it is absorbed much faster, whereas, the protein from a chicken breast takes several hours to become absorbed.
Is there a website that someone is aware of that outlines the protein absorption rates?
Thanks in advance
