get shredded while drinking light beer

my little secret, I dieted for 14 wks before with only 3-4 cheat meals. How did I manage that? I replaced my craving for food w/ 2-3 light beers 3-4x/wk. Try it, you will be amazed at the results by doing this for a month straight instead of cheat meals. Just make 3 low carb beers your limit, and slam em' if you need to in order to get some sort of buzz, which shouldnt be hard anyways since your in a depletion. You can all call me crazy, but it works!!

Im sure if you added in 3 of anything with the same calorie content as the beer it would have done the same thing. I don't think its the actual content of the beer, you might as well have added in 3 different 1/4 cups of Oatmeal to get the same 75cals, and you would probably be amazed at the results of that too, maybe even more so. If your diet is really strict the 3 - 64cal beers isn't even 200 calories so I don't think it would have hurt you much.

the problem with that is 1/4 cups of oatmeal isn't a treat, its more torture. The light beer is something to take your mind off food and look forward to, when you go for a long, long period of time w/ no cheat meals and just do the light beer its amazing at the results. The little alcohol sucks excess water out of the body and its like a mild diuretic. You wake up harder looking week by week. Like I said, I know it sounds crazy but it worked for me, best I ever looked

Dude if thats you in the Avy who cares what works as long as it does. I hear ya on the treat, there are tons of studies out there on alcohol and is negative effects but if it works and you are happy with the results and can stay disciplined enough to only have 2 or 3 when you do have it by all means go for it. I simply meant to state that I do not believe that the chemical make up of alcohol was giving you the results any more than something else with a similar caloric value would. If it aint broke don't fix it!

I agree. Usually cravings can curbed with less detrimental approach. Nvr my friend does that exact same thing and he always says "look how ripped beer got me" but If I drink two beers I piss out a gallon of water and look smaller. Different strokes.

Believe it or not, I actually like this post a lot. I know some guys who simply need this, and frankly, a couple of MGD 64s is a lot better than giving in to a bag of Doritos when watching the game with friends. I've never found the need to cheat myself because I invest a lot of time into how I prepare my foods but whatever works - as long as it works!

nah, I'm not saying anything chemical in light beer makes you more conditioned, I was just stating that going long periods of time w/out cheat meals would be impossible for me if I did not have something like this to turn to instead. Most wks I probably did this 2-3 nights/wk realistically, usually it was 2 but sometimes 3 just depended on how I felt.

I think more than anything as much time as lots of guys put into this board trying to help people are scared that others that aren't that disciplined will read this and take it the wrong way and think drinking is fine for everyone, and thats just not the case. I agree that 3 mgd 64's are a ton better than giving in to cake or icecream or a whole pizza or whatever though. I can see how it would dehydrate you and get you that tight hard look though. I got 8 more weeks to vegas once I get there I will do some drinking, I'll let you know how it goes for me . But after that weekend its back to no cheating.

  20. #20
either Mich Ultra, mgd 64, miller light, amstel light. Whatver, any light beer really, hardly any more carbs/cals in a reg light beer than a low carb beer, its all a marketing scheme really, but I do love the taste of Mich ultra!!
