    Question new with questions?

hey guys im new here and i have a few questions...

im 6' at 155-160 lbs (my goal weight being 190) depending on the day. right now im taking supplements and been on them for a few months now, haven't seen any improvement on gaining size.

strength i've seen a significant improvement, my wife says i've "filled out" but nothing has changed, just been getting better definition nothing more.

i don't know too much about steroids, all i really know is my brother used to take them, and i know he didn't do it the right way.

can anyone help with what i should do?

    age?

I can tell you right now that you don't need steroids.

At your height/weight, I'm positive that with a better diet/training you will grow.

What is your diet like now?

Fatty foods are bad with ulcers. Baked chicken and lean meats wont hurt you.

if you're looking to bulk up (sound like you are) diet is the key

i had a similar stats to you a few years ago and have managed to bulk up to 195# (i am also 6'0")

a big breakthrough for me was purchasing the arnold schwartzenegger(sp?) encyclopedia of bodybuilding (although i'm sure you can get it for free if you have bit torrent, or a similar program)

it has some great workouts and lays out a diet plan that was key to my making some great gains

let me warn you though.... if you want to make gains, you'll have to eat big
eating becomes a chore... you have to eat all the time

i don't know about ulcers.... maybe someone on the board will have some advice for you, but if you have health insurance, talk to your doctor maybe he'll have some advice for you

yea see the only thing is, in my line of work, eating all the time, isn't really an option. like i can eat alot, but eating often will be the hard thing. and idk, how realistic this is, but i'd like to gain as much weight as possible before august, i'll start eating eating eating when i can, but other than that, what supplements would help?

reason for the date is because thats when i leave, for a very VERY long time and i'd like to have a base to start at so i can try and maintain rather than gain at that point

That too is an issue you need to eat alot and eat frequently. Every 2 hours is optimal, cook some chicken breasts up and eat them throught the day. You ahve to put in some effort to get big.

trust me, i want to put in the time, but when your not able to come home for days/weeks on end and can only be fed 3 times a day... kinda puts a strain on this stuff..

I'm in the Military and preparing for deployment. this is why eating is hard to do

im new to the game to and im trying to learn as much as possible as fast as possible. in the last two weeks i've learned a tremendous amount of information on this site. it seems i learn something everytime i come here.

just my 2 cents which doesn't carry a lot weight, hold off on the steroids. get an optimal diet and train til you reach a plateau. then if you've been doing your research, you probably will be ready to try a cycle.

from a personal standpoint, i recently messed up a little because i thought that nolvadex while on cycle would prevent water bloat. i learned the hard way and now i'm ordering arimidex.

AAS done correctly is a science. good luck bro.

yea, i'll hold off on them. for most diet will be hard, but in my situation, its a little bit harder, which is why i was wondering about steroids, get me the base so i could maintain....
