How your workout effects your central nervous system

In the HST workout in the sticky it said you need 24 hours just for you central nervous system to repair it self before it starts repairing your muscles you just worked. It suggest mon/wens/fri with weekends off. Now I have done muscles once and twice a week before. And I see a lot of people workout one muscle a day mon-fri and take off on the weekeds.
    Question is:

Do you think there is more of a benifit taking the next day off so your nervous system is repaired and then you get 24 hours of muscle healing.

    A split like- mon- chest,tries / wens-back, bies / fri- Legs, shoulders.

    Or

Working one muscle per day is still good because you dont work it again for a week so it still gets to heal?

Any one have real knowlage on this?

training your CNS is more for powerlifters not body builders. so it really it based on what your goals are. Also your body is your best judge, if you are feeling sore a lot or not growing then you need to look at your training routine and diet, both of which effect your CNS and growth.

one muscle per day, making sure not to use connecting muscles back to back, or too many movements that use the same joints. make sure to plan a work out that is spread out.

the big issues most people run into is shoulder or lower back injury's from over training. so just make sure you don't put muscle groups day after day that are going to over work areas like that..

big big big note, make sure you diet is right....

I never had immidiate days off after every work out. So I was just wandering if it was a real big difference. I have been trying to change my routine this past week or so. I am on cycle and was just looking for something new. I currently do

    Day 1 chest and tries
    day 2 back and bie
    day 3 shoulders and legs
    day 4 Off
    day 5 chest and tries
    day 6 back and bies
    day 7 shoulders and legs
    day 8 OFF
day Depends how I feel if I want another day off or start over again.

I know this is a lot but I am ON cycle, get plenty of rest, diet is good and Im not working so Im relaxing all day. I am not sore or tired and feel good. Sometimes I want to work out more. And if im ever tired I take a day off. I think my splits fine I was just curious about the CNS because I really never read up on it. Any thought on my split? I was thinking of changing to the HST workout but i feel Im going from one extream to the other. Any thought?

I've found the best thing for me is to limit my workouts to eod when mass building. i get much ,much stronger going eod as opposed to 2 days in a row, but conditioning suffers more.
