Hey guys I’m 21 years old, 5'4, and been training for about 2 years. I’m 154lbs and somewhere between 10-11% bf. September last year i ran my first cycle of Test C. To cut a long story short i was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis about week 5 of my cycle so I was forced to end it there. Anyway before that my diet sucked maybe 1500 to 2000 calories a day. Reading this forum and other sites for a while I believe I got my diet in check. As soon as i began my cycle i increased my calories to about 3500 to 4000 per day...After doing some research i concluded that the colitis was caused due to high calories intake which my body couldn’t handle. I brang this to my DR. and he also said that he has meet many bodybuilders who have colitis and there symptoms reappear during there bulking stage on a competition when the calories are high...(this has been the case with many guys on this forum as well) Anyway i want to start a cycle in 4 months or so once im off all my medication which are nearly over soon. However i am not going to risk high calorie intake because it is not worth it! Can anyone suggest a diet like high protein low carbs which i can follow that’s not high calories but able to gain muscle. i no this sounds stupid but is it possible? For example 200 grams protein and 200 grams carbs and like 30 grams of fat? So that’s like 1800 calories? i no u guys are thinking "I eat that much for breakfast" But i no if i eat 3500+ calories my colitis will return. Sorry for being such a nuisance but any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
