    length of pin..matter or not

    Just wondering if the length of the pin matters? I don't have much fat on the ars so is a 1 inch fine? I switched from a 1.5 to a 1 over the last few cycles and it seems that my gains have not been as good. Not sure if it needs to me deep sub or just sub into the muscle..maybe just my imagination...any thoughts

    i would think that the size of the pin wouldent effect gaons at all ,as long as your going in around 1 in you willbe fine ,i have done 1/2 slin pin im shots in my delts and had no probs.

    It needs to be DEEP IM. For glutes I would go 1.5 and 1" elsewhere.

    As long as it is long enough to be absorbed in the muscle tissue and not the subcutaneous tissue... size won't matter.

    As a rule of thumb ppl usually use:
    thigh 1" to 1.5"
    glute 1.5"
    delt .75" to 1"

    If you are lean and its a large muscle group then i would do 1 inch.

    I am pretty lean..just been seeing poor results from last few cycles and trying to figure out what's going wrong. Thought maybe the pin wasn't getting it deep into the muscle and leaking into sub

    I hear u it can mess with u. Ive been doing cycles for many years and usually use a 23g 1in, I cant get them in 1.5. U can go down to 22g 1.5 but dam it hurts. My current cycle hasn't been giving me the same results as past ones and am more concerned about built up scar tissue in my glutes and whether I should switch to 1.5 to go past that tissue. But I do twice weekly injections and that would be too much with 22g.

    I hear ya on the 22 1.5... My first cycle was with 18g 1.5 as I was told to use...damn that felt like a spike! I since then dropped to 23g 1 inch, but might try the 1.5 since you mentioned scar tissue..never thought of that. Makes sense though, but I would assume that it would leak around scar tissue and find its way into the muscle..

    on most people, if body fat is over, lets say high teens, then 1 inch will do, but 1.5 gives better piece of mind

    It sounds like you have answered your own questions. Most all the vets say 1 1/2 in the glutes and Thighs. If it does not make it deep enough into the muscle it may be absorbed by the fat tissue more.

    Sounds like that is what is happening and you are not getting enough into your system.

    22g 1.5in pin ed for me!

    Where is your gear coming from? Are you sure it's legit? Beyond that, it's either training or your diet holding you back. In most cases, its the diet.

    This is what I do:

    22g 1¼", glute
    23g 1¼", delt - chest - lat
    23g 1", calf - trap
    25g ⅝", bicep - tricep - forearm
    23g 1", thigh - femoral bicep

    It's coming from the same place where most of my friends buy and they are getting good gains from it so I'm ruling out bad gear. Maybe I just need to eat more, but I'm doing about 2500-3000 cals which has been my sweet spot on other cycles..a little fat build but mostly lean gain.
