    Help please...

I'm not exactly sure where to post this question, but this seemed as logical a place as any:

I am chronically sleep-deprived and usually get less than 4 hours of sleep a day (sometimes I am up for 24 hours or more straight). I know the importance of adequate rest, especially when trying to lose weight and when training/exercising (cortisol, leptin, ghrelin, etc. and the effects of sleep or lack thereof on these and other things). However, due to my current responsibilities and circumstances, getting more sleep is not really possible. I am writing all of that to get to this question: are there any supplements (I currently take vitamin C) that will help me to get the most out of training/exercise so that I can lose body fat even though I can't rest as much as I need to? Specifically, is there anything that will manipulate the levels of hormones that are affected by sleep or lack thereof and stress (i.e. cortisol, ghrelin, leptin, etc.) to get as close to the results of diet and exercise with adequate rest as possible even though I cannot get adequate rest?
Because I'm sure someone will ask: I do cardio at least 4 days a week, usually 6 days and I weight train 3-4 days a week. My diet is "in check" (I have to watch my diet carefully for health reasons other than just weight control, so I am very strict about what I eat).

There is nothing you can do that can make up for a lack of sleep. Rest as in having a complete sleep cycle (REM, etc) is fundemental if not more important than having a good diet and exercsie regimen.

If you want to take aids for fat loss then green tea (caffeine), ephedrine, clen, t3, DNP, synephrine, albuterol, and many more would be things to look into.

This is what I was afraid of Trust me, I don't choose to get insufficient rest, it's just what the current circumstances dictate. I ordered some clenbuterol and am currently rereading the posts on dosage to ensure that I take it correctly. Hopefully that will give my diet and exercise a boost so that I lose some more body fat. Dragging my butt to the gym on little to no sleep is not my idea of fun, but if I don't go tired, I wouldn't go at all. Thanks for the input guys.

Damn that sucks...in one of his videos, Ronnie Coleman states he only sleeps about 6 hours a night. I don't know how you people function. If I get any less than 8 hrs...stay the fk out of my way.

My schedule is generally like this:

    5:00am 45-60 minutes cardio
6:30am get oldest child ready for school
7:00am baby usually wakes up...spend next few hours playing with her, feeding, cleaning, etc.
between 10:00-11:00am nap whenever the baby falls asleep for her nap (about 1 1/2 hours)

either go to gym with husband for weight training around 12:30 OR wait until oldest gets out of school at 1:45 and to to gym around 2:00 (weight training 45 - 60 minutes)

If it is a day that hubby sleeps in and we go to the gym after oldest gets home, I usually cook lunch around 1:00

3:00pm cook if I haven't done so already and get hubby's food packed for him to go to work

4:00-9:00pm take care of the kids and house, help with homework, etc.

    9:00pm oldest goes to bed

The baby usually takes another 2 hour nap at some point in the evening and I nap then...the rest of the night is spent entertaining her, doing chores, etc.

12:30am hubby gets home from work...spend next few hours talking, watching movies, playing with the baby until she goes to sleep...usually fall asleep for about an hour or so before getting up to start all over again

This doesn't take into account any other things that I do or when I have appointments, etc. just a typical day not doing alot...

Because I can't leave my one-year-old unsupervised LOL. She has unfortunately gotten onto my husband's schedule and stays up almost all night. I try to nap when I can during the day, but there is almost always something that has to be done. I do usually get a chance to sleep more on my husband's two days off (except for military weekends), he'll watch the kids so that I can sleep for a few hours.
