    Cheap Blood Work

Wondering what way would be the cheapest yet most accurate and effective way to get my levels checked? Any ideas?

The cheapest way is obviously having insurance and paying next to nothing. If you can't do it through your provider, then checkout something like: http://www.privatemdlabs.com/

ZRT has done several IGF-1 blood spot tests for me... about $85 per test. It's a great deal for me living in Alaska. They mail me the kit with a prepaid UPS return box and all the instructions.

    Quick, easy and accurate.

Problem with that type of test, is that it only tests one thing. If you just want to inquire where your Test level is at, then that will work fine (just to have an idea).

However, if you feel something is wrong (low test or you're having low test symptoms), then just the testosterone test will not be enough. It's a good idea to have all things related tested also (E2, LH, even thyroid, etc.). You could come back low on the testosterone test, but something else may be off.

Just saying I wouldn't treat anything based on the testosterone test alone.

    (Sorry, hope that wasn't confusing).

Thanks for the replies guys. Good point Dante, do any of the places posted test the levels of the other things or are they just strictly for your test levels?

^^^Nevermind. I clicked on Oh Really's link and looked around and found a full male test. $380 bucks though. Quite a bit more than I can afford unfortunately.

Holy shit, I was scrolling through and they have a test for EVERYTHING! Thanks vetteman, that is a helluva good price from what I have seen from some other places. Have you ordered from them before?

It's a bit pricey, but not horrible. I checked with CompuNet to see what a Full male hormone panel would cost (the whole sha-bang!) without insurance. With a special and 15% OFF if paid-in-full, it was still over $2500+!! I have mine covered, however I was just curious for people without insurance. Pretty nuts.

Life Extension Foundation has their Male Panel on sale right now. It is usually about $200 for everything needed.
