SUPER LONG cycle, not getting gains??

Hi Guys... Ive been pretty much on for 18+ months. Taken a couple of short 3 months breaks to cruise on TRT, but other than that I've pretty much been on non-stop.

Had blood work done and I am in perfect health.

I recently went through a major surgery and lost 20+ lbs and a lot of strength.

I stayed on during the surgery and am back into the gym now but I am finding the gains just arent coming as easily as I thought.

I am around 188lbs right now and finding gains hard.

I am taking a blend of TEST-C/DECA/EQ 3.5cc's a week, its a blend I made up on accident but it's worked quite well for me in the past.

I just put my buddy I work out with on his first cycle of 500mg test a week and he's gained 28lbs in 7.5 weeks.

I know all the receptor stuff is a myth but it makes me think I am not very sensitive to the juice anymore but I dont understand why...

A while back when I was stuck around 205 @7% BF I upped my cycle to 6cc's a week from 3.5 for a good 8-10 weeks and I didnt get any gains at all.

Diet has been good 200G protein ~3000 cal a day.

Currently 29/6'1/188lbs/6-8%... usually around 205 as high as 215.

Pre surgery I was having some issues that caused me to loose some weight and I got down to 195 or so but I was still strong, repping 315 on bench well.
    Picture attached from then.

Now only being 7lbs less I look like shit! IMO

I couldn't gain on this diet either.....

You need to go back to the drawing board and start all over. After a long PCT or cruise, whatever you choose. How do you think you can gain if you don't get the necessary protein and carbs?? Visit the diet section.

Please if your here to complain or criticize please just dont bother posting.

Good input I would appreciate. I am eating more than my two buddies on cycle and they are gaining and weigh more than me. I do have a high metabolism..

    What should I be eating?

3000cal a day seems to be my threshold Ive pushed to 3500-4000 but after a week or two I get so sick of food I either literally throw up or can't eat anymore.

Food becomes so miserable I dread every single meal.

Any thoughts if that might be it? I was gaining before on a 2500cal day diet.

you cant use other people as a true guideline .. else we'd all have the same body types and builds..
sounds to me like you might have an eating disorder

Can you guys give me some feed back on what your eating? How often and your current size (height weight)?

How are you able to eat that much and not puke it up or completely loose all your appetite?

    Thanks, its much appreciated.

eating disorder? Are you kidding me? I just dont have the appetite, I can force feed to the point where my body seriously says NO MORE food, Im gonna puke if you eat anymore. I have no appetite left and looking at food is plain miserable.

I dont want body building to consume my life but I'd like to be at a solid 215, benching 400+ again.

umm.. bodybuilding requires 24/7 discipline since diet dictates 80% of ones composition... so if you dont want it to consume your life, then it really isnt for you

Use shakes then, easy way to get in extra calories.

Why so defensive? You should be thanking us....

Like I said, visit the diet section. First off, you should be getting 2 grams of protein per lb of bodyweight, my 18 yr old kid gets 350 grams ed. He's 5'10" and 191lbs.

Like Tai said, everyone is different. If you'r not gaining weight of any kind, you aren't eating enough. It really isn't that difficult of a concept.

Im not defensive. Just learning as I go, through watching others I work out with etc. I never see anyone eat 2g per LB. But Ive tried for it before, its just really hard to get there even with 3-4 protein shakes a day. Im going to give it a go again though.

I appreciate all the help/input. I dont need to be 265lbs like my buddy, but I still bench and leg press the same as him. But I want to be good sized and strong, thus I dont need BB to be a 24/7 thing but I am willing to put significant effort into it.

Ive been lifting 15 years. Ive always had a high metabolism and have suffered from some internal intestinal problems which hopefully are behind me now w/ my last surgery.

I stay on cycle because my blood work and health are perfect so why not?

At 25yrs old before I even touched juice I was 155lbs benchin 300 at 4.5% BF. Due to my stomach issues I couldnt absorb much of my food. Im 6'1 and have 6'6" arms.

I agree, I had a gut disease for 10 years that didnt allow me to absorb hardly any of my food. I ate endlessly junk food and fattening items but nothing would stick.

I didnt choose to be that lean.

Im still curious to hear what your guys diets are like and your stats.

    Then they come back.

That's no fun. I have UC. Im guessing you have crohn's? That does complicate getting the calories you need to grow no doubt. Im always fine when dieting down on a strict diet, but when Im bulking and eating more calorie dense foods, I suffer a bit.

My stats:, 5'8", reached 260lbs this off season with kinda visible abs, maybe 15%bf. Currently down to 244 while prepping for July BBing contest. Probably compete at 215? Won't know until I get there. Current prep diet consists of 400 grams of protein ED with 300grams of carbs, very low fat. In the off season the protein is about the same with carbs in the 600 range. I don't count as close in the off season. I just monitor my progress, if I stop growing, I try to eat more. I do eat a lot of calorie dense food (shit) to get my weight up.

Yes I have crohns. Been through multiple blood transfusions and its taken me down to 129lbs once at 6'1". So its been rough. This last surgery I hope is the last and I am feelin much better now.

In response to two-timer, yes I do better on cycle thus why I have stayed on, it helps keep the disease in remission.

Thanks guys. 5'8" at 244 is HUGE! Bumping up my protein big time now

No recreational drug talk allowed here, but cannibis does wonders for UC, don't know about crohns. It's legalized here in MI for medicinal use. My bulking secret!

****ing noblemen n' women did it back in the days to stay trendy/lean why cant we reintroduce that fad.. take one like 12 weeks out from a comp, then just take that med that they have now days that kills the worm instantly.. when its over

you would willingly introduce a parasite in your body in order to change your body composition? Holy shiit.....all tapeworms do is drain your carbs and your protein and store the fat in your body like a giant refrigerator...unless you compete for sumo theres no point in doing that...

i dont see myself in front of a meal that i know for sure is contamined with worm eggs....just....no...

There is a registry. It takes about 90 days for approval. Then you have to either grow it yourself or find a licensed caregiver. It was just introduced this last year. They're still working out the bugs in the system. The way the government works in this state it will be a miracle if they ever get it working smoothly.

You dont want body building to consume your life but youve been on for 18 months? You need to run a long pct and rethink your approach. Thats my advice for you.
