I know it may sound stupid but i figure i would ask this question. By working out legs does it help make your abs stronger and harder?

You use abs as stabilizers during squats and deads.
Damn it yellow!!!!! Beat me to the punch again!!! It is a friday so I am running a bit slow today. Yes....squats will strengthen your abs.
lol sure works mine
everytime i do a brutal leg day i always go home and throw up heh
So by me negalating to do legs for the past year or so cant be very good for my abs.
By you negating abs, you're cheating yourself of a balance in overall physique. Your body wants to keep a balance so bigger legs= bigger upper. You can still get stimulation by doing direct ab work. But also by not doing legs, further down the road your body will lose proportion and you will be one of those typical guys at the gym, everyone makes fun of for chicken legs. Do legs.
My legs are pretty big cause i dont drive and i do a lot of walking and i play ball. When i did work out legs i did good weight on them for some one who doesnt work there legs out with weight.
You have a good foundation on legs, you should continue building on that. But one thing for sure, you shouldn't NOT work out your legs.
DO LEGS!!! Why not??? You workout every other muscle why not legs?
I don't know if you heard of the term "core" but doing squat's strengthen's your core, So does any other excersise that involes you up right while doing resistence. Look up Core training on the net or book's that will be the INfo your looking for.
One awesome one that I love. I take the smith machine and do squats. BUT... I go till my butt hits the floor, this will hit your abs a lot more than 3/4 squats that most people do. Try lowering your squat weight and do reps of 10 or so youll feel it on your abs for sure!
