Finger/wrist/toe pain on hgh

My friend has been on hgh for approx 2 months now and has been noticing pain in his thumb by his wrist. He feels that he didnt hurt it by lifting or anything else physical. Could the hgh have anything to do with this? He also is getting some painful sensations in his toes.

Hes approx 210lbs 45yrs old

I get a carpel tunnel type of feeling in my wrist if I go over 6 units a day. I have read the muscles around nerve highways grow and apply pressure to the nerves. I just stay around 4 a day and no issues.
