Anyone here ever had a seizure before? and yes i know there have probably been plenty of threads like this, but hey u can never have enough of em... also the chances of getting a seizure in the us is like 3-5% right? omfg i meant mail seizures not actually seizures lol....

No but I've been in the same house as someone who had one and had to shove a sock in his mouth and bear hug him so he wouldn't hit his head on something.. I was scared as hell. Why do you ask?

I havent but my mom has. She had really bad headaches for a few days and then finally went to the hospital and had 3 seizures. Turned out she had a bleed on her brain. Very scary to watch someone you love having a seizure and you cant do anything about it.

I've had a med induced seizure before, but I'm not prone to getting them naturally.

Why do you ask? I assume you had one?
and 3-5% sounds a bit high for some reason. That converts into a lot of damn people having seizures if you do the math, would think its closer to 1%.. maybe I'm wrong though who knows.

Yes, it was self induced. Blacked out, and during it was a seizure. Back in high school, it was all the rage for a a couple of weeks.

Kids, try this at home!

You squat with your hands on your knees, and your head between your legs. Inhale all the air you can with a breath, and exhale all of the breath that you can out. Do this for 20-30secs then stand up and without opening your mouth, blow. Keep blowing until the next thing you remember is waking up on the ground with a lump on the back of your head.
