I was thinking of Shogun's game plan this time Vs. LeCheeta

I thought about it today, and he did so well last time.

    I don't think he'll change anything.

Machita's skill is in his stance. Legs pushed forward, head set back, fast in, fast out motions.

Shoguns answer last time, was to take the exposed legs and Shogun has massive leg kicks. He's the perfect guy to beat him, and match his style.

LeCheeta probably knows this by now, after the last fight....but what could he really to do stop it? He's been fighting with that stance his whole life....he won't be able to change it up.

I see it going just about the same as the last fight, but I see Shogun being more aggressive. He was really disappointed at the last fight, and mentioned he hated having that loss on his record.

I see Matchita doing about the same thing, and part of that might be because he's done the same thing every fight and it's worked. But who knows what he'll have up his sleeve.

the most anticipated fight in about the last year

I think Shogun's going to stomp him out. He 100% won the last fight IMO. I was shocked by the judges decision.

Definitely going to be a great fight. Could you image if Shogun knocked him out? that's what I want to go down! lol.

Hopefully Macheeta doesn't just run around the ring in circles like always. I can't bear to watch when he pulls crap like that. just b.s...

I feel the same way . Shogun looked great after fight . I imagine the disbelief was tremendous . It seems like a couple times I thought judges made mistakes in the UFC .

    I'll 3rd that.

After Shogun won his first round against him, I was so happy.

    1. Because has been one of my favorite LHWs for a long time and I did not want him to fall off the rankings.

    2. I thought Lacheeta would reign champ forever, and Shogun already proved that wrong.

F*cking rights!!!! woohoo!! I couldn't have been happier with the outcome.

Let me tell you, I wasn't thinking that it would ever be a first round knock out though.

Props to Shogun. Great fighter; and couldn't be happier that he's the new Light-heavy weight champion!

It was nice to see a fight where Machida didn't just circle for 5 rounds. lol. A nice abrupt ending to the fight!

Oh and BTW, Josh Koscheck is going to get his ass handed to him by St. Pierre, whenever that title fight happens.

I'll predict a first or second round knock-out/TKO.

What a joke; Koscheck has no where near the skill that George does. There's an exponential difference in the caliber of fighters..

I just DL'd the fight and was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

I saw it was a shorter video, and was not going through the first round.

Saw Shogun take a Knee to the body and, but about dropped my laptop when it was all said and done!

I am really surprised that so many people didnt know this was what was going to happen, Especially people who keep up with the sport seriously.

You mean didn't think that Shogun would take the title or that he would win by KO? After last time I think most people thought Shogun would take it though I expected that it would be by decision

I think most people expect Shogun to win, and win by KO.

because he was so disappointed at the end of the last fight, we knew he would be more aggressive this time and not want to leave it in the judges hands.

I think just the finality of it happening, has a lot of MMA/Shogun fans pumped.

What I did NOT expect, was a different stance for Matchita, Or for it not to make it out of the first round.

i'll back that. koscheck has no chance against GSP. i mean they have both gotten better since their last fight but GSP is at god status where kos is still just learning.

oh and i think that title fight will be after the next TUF series as koscheck earned that win to be one of he coaches and i heard GSP will be the other
