If i trained legs (light) on sunday, then did Back tues (no lower back).. would it be ok to do heavy deadlifts wens or would you argue its overtraining?

nah doesn't sound like over training to me.. go for it!
You could always do rack pulls from just below the knee...takes legs and some lower back out of the lift and focuses on your upper back...
