Yes...and Yes...I have used DMSO off and on for two decades...Everyone I have ever turned it on to has raved about it's healing properties...Christ...They pack organs being used for transport in the stuff, so it's safe in your body...I have NEVER had an adverse reaction to it, nor has anyone I know of...There are a few warnings...DMSO will transport germs and substances through the skin with it, so using it on a clean or sterile area is important...So too is the need to let it dry completely before getting dressed (I like to use a hairdryer for this as I don't like to wait)...You may get a burning or intense itch at the site of application...Grin and Bear it, the benefits are worth the unpleasantness...You may also taste or smell garlic...Don't panic, it's normal...The relief will be dramatic...Try it and come back and rave about it!!!

PS...If you live near a feed and grain store, you can get it there for at least half the cost of the health food stores (it was and still is used on lame horses)...Use the pure stuff and make sure you apply it with 100% cotton balls (not synthetics or towels)...I just put a few drops in my hands and massage it into the area...

If the smell bothers you, you can get it with different scents.

You can also get it in a gel form mixed with Aloe that kills the smell/taste.

NO, dont just make sure you skin is DRY, make sure it is CLEAN. Always wash/clean the area first.

Be careful with the stronger concentrations. It WILL take your skin off if too strong.

LIke Nicdelucca said, good stuff, it works....

It can help. Remember to never use this stuff full 100% strength it can burn your skin. Dilute it. It's messy and stinks too.

I tried a roll on DMSO for bursitis in my elbow. Didn't notice any difference. I think it (and most alternative medicine) is mostly a placebo for those who believe in it.

DMSO had been around for a long time. James Colburn swore by it for the extreme arthritis he had in his hands.

Its been studied widely and works for many:
In a 1978 study at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, researchers concluded that DMSO brought significant relief to the majority of the 213 patients with inflammatory genitourinary disorders that were studied.[10] They recommended DMSO for all inflammatory conditions not caused by infection or tumor in which symptoms were severe or patients failed to respond to conventional therapy.

Mix a little pgcl with DMSO and rub on your stomach.....

There was a lab that actually had this for sale..... not anymore tho. The DMSO carries the pgcl through the skin and attacks the fat cells..... dunno if it actually works.....
