    First injection pain!

So, started a course of test (my first course) on Monday and the area around the injection site is really painful. It's painful to walk and it's even worse when trying to walk upstairs! There is a slight swelling and with my second injection due tomorrow I'm a bit worried I'm going to spend the weekend standing up!

Did any of you get anything like this from your first jab?

Actually my first jab was pretty smooth and no pain at all. Where did you pin? Also any stats would be helpful

Post a little more info, what kind of test? Size of needle? How many cc's? Was this a glute or quad injection? Did you follow the proper injection techniques?

My first cycle I injected into the glutes and for the first 2 weeks I was sore as hell!...couldn't sit down and I almost quit. After a few weeks the pain went away and it was smooth sailin from then on. Your body's just not used to having needles stuck in it and foreign substances injected into it....but don't worry, you'll get used to it.

Could be a couple different things.....

    - virgin muscle..... your body isn't used to being injected with hormones

    - could have hit a nerve or something in there to aggrivate the muscle

    - could be the benzyl alcohol content of the batch your using

Definitely switch spots every time you pin, regardless if it gets sore or not. Warm water and massaging the area may help, but this is all part of the game.

Don't stress too much. We all get pains at some point. I pinned myself yesterday in the glute after a leg workout and it was sore like a motherfcker... even lying down and moving it.

But today its far better. Just be careful, go through all the safety precautions (wash hands, swab the vails, ensure no air in needle, swab injection site (and wait a minute) etc) and you will be fine. And dont use the same spot for a week or so

I also did it on my right leg couple of days ago and it feels like someone hit my quad with a baseball bat. It does hurt to walk around and leg workout was quite interesting. But only thing I'm paying any attention is to make sure there's no infection, other than that, I'm doing my 2nd injection on same leg but about 1 1/2" away. I was going to do it on my left but since I am already hurting on right leg, I don't want to introduce the pain on left leg

Injecting into virgin muscle hurts like hell, well in my case it did. when i did my quads for the first time, i couldn't walk for a week. But the 2nd injection into that muscle was smooth and painfree. I use to do my delts switching from right to left every other day for my test prop cycle and it never hurt nor did I get scar tissue, just really bad acne. The pain will subside once the muscles gets use to the gear.

why do you say that - too close? I thought Idea was to do it in different spot. Did I understood that? So the other leg? I'm trying to limit it to quad only but I guess I could go glute.

swelling/irritation usually spreads over a couple inches...1.5" away wouldn't be a different spot. To get far enough away, you'd be out of the injection area. From the advice i've been given, make sure the muscle is completely back to normal (in terms of swelling/soreness) before reusing it. I believe the recommended wait is at least a week.

Thanks bro - just what I needed. All these years, I thought different spot meant slight to left/right-lol. I guess I'll feel some pain on the other leg too for a while. Cheers
