    4x5 or 3x6?

Hey guys, training for strength during my cutter and wanna know which will cause better strength gains a 4x5 routine or 3x6? I say 3x6 because its more of a CNS stimulator and causes more myofibrillar hypertrophy than 4x6, though they are both great. But at the same time i understand volume isnt great for strength gains hence should I keep sets below 5?

    Here my routine:

    Mon: Legs
    Tues: Chest, tris
    Wed: Back, bis
    Thurs: Legs
    Fri: Chest, tris
    Sat: Back, bis
    Sun: OFF

sometimes they do, but its more for a combination of mass AND strength. in a month i just want to be focusing on strength ONLY which is 3-4 reps sometimes 5. Im just having trouble picking out how much volume could either boost me forward or set me back

First if I were training for strength only I would have more of a power-lifter's split and not a bodybuilder's split. Second, where is your shoulder work? One power-lifter who I interned under never specifically had a chest day and upped his bench by upping his overhead pressing abilities. His article is published on the EliteFTS website.

Finally, if you don't seem to like anything I have said at all try a program called MaxOT. It worked wonders for me and you can find it online just Google it.

How would I change that from a bb to pl routine? I want all my muscles to be strengthened not just major compound lifts, hence why i have a bb routine.
