Totally agree but.....if 35 minutes of cardio in the morning is causing you to overtrain your diet/rest/training schedule more than likely is terrible.

Are you working out immediately after cardio or later in the day?

If you are working out immediately after your cardio you are most likely working out with no glycogen stores left and are lifting on no fuel... I would try to eat something before your workout and do cardio afterwards that way you can burn off the food before you start cardio. Make sure to get your bcaa's and protein in for good recovery afterwards

You get glycogen from carbs. Have you tried doing cardio after the workout?

yea thats what i used too do started 2 weeks ago doin it before lift cause i was told needed too do cardio on empty stomach so thats y i was doin before cause as soon as im done liftging i head too locker room and drink liquid eggwhits and protein shake so i figured if i did it before then my stomach would b empty and then after lift i could replenish

Bro, definitely switch to cardio after weights. You want the energy for weights. you could even have a small meal before weights which you would burn off during weights. Then you would be doing cardio on empty stomach.

Separate the 2 things, or do the cardio after the weight training. You are so depleted on energy after 25-35 min of cardio and a Protein shake will do nothing to get your energy back up. Protein is repair, Carbs are energy. You need to have complex carbs about an 1 to 1.5hrs w. Protein (not shake) pre-workout and some simple carbs with your protein shake after workout.

Once your body gets low on fuel all the caffeine in the world won't help you push through that wall.
