    Questions/Issues regarding the 'Hardgainer' Sticky

    I just read through the 'Hardgainer? Can't Gain Weight? Read This!!!' sticky and have some questions.

    The article states: There are two ways to bulk: A clean bulk (slower, but leaner gains) and a dirty bulk (faster gains, more fat storage if metabolism isn’t fast) The main difference is that on a clean bulk, you NEVER eat carbs and fats together

    Question 1: How strict is this rule? For instance, for my first meal I eat 2 whole eggs, 1 cup of oats and a protein shake. Oats + eggs = carbs and fat in the same meal. We're talking roughly 50g carbs and 9g of fat - is that something to worry about, or does the article mean not to consume huge quantities of both in a single meal?

    The article states: Try eating 300g protein, 400g carbs, and 150g fats.

    I'm currently eating 300g protein, 300g carbs, 65g fat which is roughly 3000 calories a day. The macros suggested in the article come out to about 4100 calories, but the fat intake seems high to me?

    After 1 month on 3000 calories, I don't seem to be growing at all so I am thinking about bumping up calories again. I would go to 3500 first, 300g protein, 400g carbs, but only bump fat up to 75g. Does this sound decent, or should I make it 350g protein, 350g carbs, and 75g fat?

    The article contains a link to another site where you can plug in values and get your TDEE - when I did mine, my TDEE came out to 4500 which is IMPOSSIBLE. I know this because I was barely losing any bodyfat on a clean 2000 calorie/day diet, so wtf?

    Finally, does the term 'hardgainer' only refer to somebody who cannot gain muscle as opposed to weight in general? In other words, is there such a thing as a fat hardgainer? Somebody who can't gain muscle but can easily put on bodyfat?

    I'd appreciate your help here, i'm desperately trying to make gains but it just doesn't seem to be happening, yet i'm stuck at 15% + bodyfat, so I feel like I have the worst of both worlds. I'm losing faith in all of this guys!
