Experience with Schwartz Labs Anti-A Formula

As far s AI's go, what's the general consensus on the Schwarz Labs Ant-Aromatization Formula? Is it any good? I'm about to finish my first bottle and it's hard to say what kind of difference it's made. Not sure if I should refill with same or is there something different/better?

A lot of people seem to recommend Arimidex or Aromasin; however they're both pretty pricy for on-going daily use. Is it a matter of you get what you pay for, or is there an affordable AI that is good enough for daily use?

FYI-This is for health reasons. [not body building.] My Doc has me taking the AI daily along with 50mg of DHEA and Weekly 200mg injections of Test-Cyp. [I'm also taking 50mg of Hydrochlorothiazde daily for edema.]

Never used it. It sounds like a supplement of some kind, which there's a lot of products in the market that claim to boost testosterone, cut estrogen, build muscle mass, etc. There's even places like the sponsor of this site that put actual steroid names on their products (Deca 200, Var 10, etc.), but in reality you're getting nothing close to the real thing.

IMO, if you need a AI, then get the real deal! I've even used Liquidex from ARR in the past and I can attest that it works. Divide the dosage to the cost with Liquidex and you might even find that it is less expensive than that other stuff.

I'm pretty new to all this so a lot of the info on that site is Greek to me. I do find it interesting though, that it seems to be positioned more as a "testosterone inducer" and not as much as a "estrogen blocker". The price was sure right, I got a one month supply for $16.99.

As far as the Liquidex is concerned, If I'm reading it correctly, it appears that too would be a one month supply. i.e. 30 doses per bottle. But how is it taken? Is it oral? Do you use some sort of dropper to measure dosage and add it to water etc? I'm assuming you don't inject it.

BTW- When you say "real deal" as opposed to what? I've tried to read up on it but frankly I'm still a bit confused. Anything you can offer to clarify would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The real deal is a proven product/medication that does exactly what it says it will do. There are a zillion supplements out there that make great claims to what they can do. Not saying that your other stuff won't help, maybe it will, but when it comes to TRT, I don't want any guessing, I want the "real deal" that will give me "real results". Anastrozole/arimidex without a doubt will stop E2.

You are not reading the Liquidex correctly. Each bottle has 30mg. Depending on your E2 level and current TRT program, you would probably take 0.5mg x 2 or x 3 per week. So, 0.5mg x 3/wk = 1.5mg for the week. This could last you 3 months+.

Looking into that Schwartz stuff a little deeper ... It appears to be just natural herbs. Not saying that can't help cause there's good stuff out there, but I wouldn't put my faith into herbs or supplements when taking TRT.

Last I checked you were taking 200mg/wk, is that correct? Sorry if I overlooked it, but what is your E2 score? Is BF a concern at this time?

I ask because based on the Liquidex site, it says, "Researchers are using around .25mg to 1mg per day or .5mg to 1mg every other day and are having good success with it." And according to the label on the bottle is 1ml=1mg in a 30ml bottle. I'm a big guy and when it comes to varying does, I'm usually someone who is on the high end. So I was figuring at a full 1mg a day the bottle would last 30 days.

As for my E2, I had it checked 6 weeks into begining my TRT [that was 7 months ago] At the time, the doctor just said it was, "OK". He didn't tell me the actual level and since I was still learning I didn't think to ask however, since then, I've begun DHEA so that's why I figured it couldn't hurt to add an AI. I check on all this with my doc first and he OK'd it.

And yes, I'm on 200mg a week Test Cyp.

When you ask about BF, are you referring to body fat? If so, yes; it's a definite concern..

Why not just get a copy of your lab work so you can see the numbers for yourself?

Now that a little time has passed, and you're into the 200mg test routine, it would be a good time to run lab work to see where your numbers are at. It would be in your interest to get copies, after all you're paying for it.

I'm sure ARR and others have all sorts of dosing scenarios depending who you are. Some guys who BB might be cycling 800mg of cyp and other things with gyno right around the corner. Our starting points will be a little different. But first, you need to know what that number is (then and now), and find out 6 weeks after starting a reasonable dose.

A great HRT program takes at least 6 months (IMO) to get dialed in. None of it is a sprint, take the time really understand what is optimal for you.

I get the doses from real life experiences of my own program, along with researching and reading the stories of many members. A lot of people can be across the board here ... And every now and then you'll see some guys start feeling kind of sick and lose their libido cause someone told them to pile it on.

You've got to be in sync with your lab work to make this work for you.

The circumstances are that they took way too much Adex and dropped their E2 too low, too fast. Pick any prescription you have or have had from a doctor. Now start doubling it up or more. What usually happens? Might start seeing sides and not feeling so good. Adex is no different. Unlike herbs and natural medicines that you can run loosely, Adex is the "real deal" and needs to be medicated with respect.

That old adage, "educate before you medicate" is very true in regards to these products.
