playing the blood work game ... Y or No ??

I took the pin (200mg on 5/25/10) and have the OK to go again on 6/8/10 (2 weeks). My Endo is BIG on the 200mg every 2 weeks route. I disagree but WTF.. I am supposed to go get my blood work done at the half way point between injections or 6/1 or 6/2 BUT I did not ….

Anyway I like to wait a little longer than I’m supposed to because I like to come in a little lower than normal . I’m trying to make my case to be put on 200mg every 7 days. At 200mg every 2 weeks I feel “ok” not ‘normal’ in my book I guess. All other levels are OK and within Normal range..

I do understand about a 8 day ½ life on cypionate… I just think that 200mg a week will get me to where I feel optimal.

Thoughts on waiting on the blood draw.. I was almost thinking of going the day before I’m supposed to pin again ,,,,,,

Don't know if 200mg/wk is the ticket or not ... Everyone responds differently so it could be 200, maybe 150mg, I dunno.

However, what I do know, you'd be much better and more stable with doing at least the same dosage, but break it up weekly (100mg/wk). You're right-on with the half life, so by day 14 you'll be starting to drop fast. Too much roller coasting when doing it every two weeks.

If your endo won't budge on pinning 1x EW instead of 2x EW find another doc and tell you endo that he is an incompetent boob. You probably don't need 200mg EW. Start by dividing your dose as mentioned and see how it goes. It's YOUR body and YOU get to decide how you want to proceed. He may not agree with you, but you're technically taking the same dose, just pinning more frequently and there isn't jack he can say about it. If he really wants to play hardball with you, no prob -- walk away and go with another doc who understand what a half life is.

200mg a week may bring me over the 'normal' levels. but like you said "it's my body"

THis guy is OK .... he just thinks that the invasive needle is not a requirement weekly....

It's about the 'normal ranges' not really about how I feel.... He knows about my prior cycles and when he knows I'm not looking for 500mg of test every 6 days..

My doc put me on 200 mg per week of T cyp. I feel really good so far, last time I could feel my levels dropping. I got a year script already.
