    butter replacements?

    for the last 14 days I have been very specific about carb and fat control but I am somewhat tired of dry toast any ideas on a butter replacement or should I just stop whining? ST

    ok thanks I have read other wise when its a multi grain but i will do more research. no other ideas anyone?

    Have you tried that thing that it's called "I can't believe it's not butter"? (In the spray presentation)

    That stuff is the SH*T man... 0 carbs, 0 kcal... Only pure flavor.
    I used it to prepare brown pasta, and tastes terrific.

    I agree with Damien though, try for a better carb source than bread.

    went to 1/2 cup oats any ideas on sweeteners?

    Much better. Splenda or stevia to sweeten with some cinnamon and/or vanilla is my staple.

    I've been combining stevia and splenda in my oats, works for me!

    Damien - I haven't thought of adding vanilla, sounds great gonna try it tomorrow! I have been adding in blueberries lately though which has been a nice addition.

    Well, for eggs I use a butter flavored 0cal spray, which the can resembles the PAM spray cans, I think PAM actually makes it - but spray for about 4 seconds and its sucha buttery taste...helps me scarf down my eggs.
