    Sushi...

Why is it so good? It either chemically resembles crack or they put it in it...

A year ago I hated the thought and concept of eating raw seafood with plain rice but I tried it about 6 months back when I visited some friends in California and can't stop thinking about it...

In fact, I just came back from visiting a few countries (Gremany, UK, France) and the first thing I did when I got to each one is look for a Sushi joint.. Yoshi and YO! sushi places seem to be dominant companies over there

When you think about it, nothing would be better for a diet... that isn't concerned about carbs of course. Pure/raw protien source with pure/raw vegetables and rice. By pure I mean no butter, oils, salts or additives.

Love sushi with a passion.. go for the sashimi if you're worried about the rice/carbs.. same thing as sushi w/o the rice..

Ya I've had sushimi appetizer platters before. A "rainbow" sushimi is 3 or 4 different cuts of fish, it's great but expensive considering what little you get.

That's the only limiting factor for me... anytime I go into a place, I easily spend $30 on it

Sushi is my favorite cheat while on a diet. Not much of a cheat except Im normally eating brown rice. It's such a clean food, I love the stuff.

Do you remember the song Sushi Girl, by the Tubes. It's older then most members in here I think.

    Skating down in Shinjuku
When I smelled love in the air
    Rolling by the pagoda
    The fragrance floats from somewhere

Will my Suki find me in time
    Or will her sushi spawn
The odor drives me out of my mind
The scent goes straight to my prawn

    Su-su-sushi
    Mushi-mushi
    Cherry blossom and rice
    Su-su-sushi she’s so nice

    Recklessly I order away
This one thinks it’s still swimmin’
Tail and fin she dives right in
    Who could ever want more

    Su-su-sushi (sushi girl)
    Mushi-mushi (sushi girl)
Cherry blossom (sushi girl) and rice
    Su-su-sushi she’s so nice

    Su-su-sushi don’t you cry
Take you to the sushi bar and buy you some
    Fillet and claw
    Clam and tuna
    Gonna eat it raw
    She’s my my abaluna

Suck a tentacle dip it in sauce
Hot green root it sure is boss
My only vice is to slice it nice
And wrap it in rice—Oh, what a device

    Su-su-sushi (sushi girl)
    Mushi-mushi (sushi girl)
Cherry blossom (sushi girl) and rice
    Su-su-sushi she’s so nice

    Su-su-sushi (sushi girl)
    She go mushi (sushi girl)
Cherry blossom (sushi girl) and rice
    Su-su-sushi got that right tonight

    Su-su-sushi (hot sake)
    She go mushi (wasabe)
Cherry blossom (and rice) and rice
    Su-su-sushi

    I love sushi.

Sometimes i go to the supermarket and prepair myself Sashimi. It's healthy and tasty. But always remember, when dealing with raw fish make sure its REALLY fresh and hygiene is beyond important. (i mean it, otherwise the chances of you getting sick are very high).

Also, be careful with the soy sauce or avoid it.
