Is the sunflower oil in a can of tuna a good EFA? I am cutting right now, and I'm wondering if it would be ok to get my fat source for this meal from the oil in the tuna. I eat tuna twice a day.

i like to use 1/2 tbsp of mayo as a fat source for my tuna.. with a squirt of lemon and a tiny squeeze of that Chinese ultra hot sauce yummmmmmeeeyyy....
IMO sunflower oil has the strongest taste/aroma especially the unrefined one .. it's a turnoff for me personally.. also if you relly wanna bump up EFA's fish oil caps with a can of tuna is a good match lolbut thats really spartan tho..
Pure olive oil only...
Flax seed oil is also a good source for fats
sunflower oil is a good fat but it's not an EFA. Walnut oil, flax seed oil, fish oil, and many specialty blends like Udo's would be better if that's the goal. If you're just looking for a healthy fat source to lube up the tuna; evoo is probably the best best. I make my own mayo using omega-3 egg yolks, lemon juice, garlic, and evoo every week. It's great for canned tuna or any lean protein/veg.
okay, thanks guys! No more tuna in sunflower oil!
Almond oil mixed with tuna is really good too!
