First V glute injection!

Gettin ready to pin the v glute for the first time. I keep hearing that it's the best place to inject, so here goes. The only thing that sucks, is that I've got a big vein runnin through the middle of it, right where I wanna pin...guess I'll have to go above or below it. Still debating if I wanna push 2 cc's or just one, being my first time. Anyways, just wanted to share with you guys cause I've got nobody else I can tell about it...and I'm a little scared. LOL

Should I be using a 1.5 inch needle or can I use a 1 inch? And do you think I should just inject 1cc for the first time or should I just push 2 in there?

Depends on the size of your glute. 1" will probably be fine, but I personally would go with the 1.5" just to be sure (got to get deep in there). As far as the 1 or 2cc for your first time.... since it is your first time, just use 1cc so you can get a feel for how you are going to be afterwards with that amount. If you have no issues, go ahead and try 2cc the next time.
