Background: I'm doing HRT through an anti-aging clinic. The basic routine prescribed is: (1) T cream, compounded; (2) HCG; and (3) adex. I use the cream daily for about 1 month, then go to HCG injections every 3 days for about 5 weeks. I also take adex every other day, perpetually. I'm happy with the results. Maintaining in the 800s, which was my goal. I'm looking to maintain this level for life. (I'm 47).
Problem: It's very expensive. The doctor fees are $1000 every 6 months; cream is about $120 per month, labs are outrageous, etc. The doctor obviously marks up product and labs.
I have an alternative source for the HCG. I can't find an alternative source for the cream - no compounding lab will make it without a prescription. So I'm considering replacing the cream with injectible T.
Question: (1) Which T should I use, and (2) how much should I use (dose and frequency) to maintain the mild elevated levels I've obtained?
