Sure, you can throw a third one into the mix to treat the side effects of the other two, but do you really want to go down that road?
My advice, get counseling for your depression with a view towards weening yourself off Lexapro eventually. You have situational depression, not chronic depression. Which means that the chemical imbalance which is causing the depression is not permanent; it's a side effect of the emotions that you're having related to the loss you've experienced. It can take a while to cope with a severe loss properly (I won't say get over, because you never truly get over some things).
The goal should always be less drugs, not more.
BTW, was the Lexapro prescribed by a general practitioner or a psychiatrist?
