On my iPhone, no time to check the links till I get home. BUT - I've followed his keto diet before with incredible results and have used his species product, Lopolyze, to similar effect. I've also learned a lot from reading his Q and A sessions. Dave's definitely helped me achieve a lot.
Good deal, you'll be glad these videos were posted. Keto never caught interest in me until I reviewed this. He gets straight down to the nitty gritty of things. And it's not all about Keto as well, which is a plus for those who don't care about Keto.
A must view for all IMO.
After watching, I'm gonna add these to my standard post I copy/paste for new members who are way off track. Invaluable, absolutely invaluable!
Glad to hear man. It's helped me a lot.
I just ordered his Macadamia nut oil. It's very reasonably priced.
damn colette is super fine![]()
jesus that totally changed my ideas about keto. definitely going to do some more research and maybe give it a shot.
good post HP. thanks bro.
My pleasure. I'll be bumping this from time to time.

This forum has plenty of great stickies at hand. Took me a while to see if this had already be posted or not. If the majority of the members here including vets/mods find it worth being a sticky that would be great.
Thanks for taking the time to view the videos bro. It really is an eye opener in terms of nutrition.
Dave is the man keeps me in keto
Anytime, glad it could be of assistance.
wow this was a great find hawaiianpride! i alway read daves q and a and ive ssen his md vids but ive never seen these ones. only thing is that i know alot of people including me lose too much weight on the keto. i asked ronnie and he said that he keeps to around 150g carbs and carbs up maybe twice a week as he also loses too much on the keto. dave also suggested in this vid to buid muscle while losing fat would be to take 50g of waxy starch maize pre and pwo, i think this makes good sense cos your feeding the body carbs at the most crucial times of the day and when the body is most likely to store the glycogen in the muscles so insulin release wont cause fat gain at these times. do you think this would slow down the fat loss process significantly?
No, I don't think it would at all. Thanks for checking in.
HP....thank you for posting. Great videos
i love his theories...
although i dont like how much he preaches keto...i think its very individualistic and u need to find what works for you...
some ppl need carbs and personally i tried keto for a long time and the energy was never really there in workouts...i find i need carbs structured pre and post workout
i do love his work tho...great guy
Crap... so all the 300g carb/day bulkers and muscle gain diets were all Bullsh!t? No wonder I was getting fat as fvck each time I was on them...
I think I am gonna start testing things out...
I will go 50% protein (300g) 25% carbs (150g) 25% fats (150g)
3150 cals / day
Thank you for these vidoes, should be a sticky.
You were probably getting fat because you were consume excess calories, not because you were eating 300g carbs daily. I could cut on 300g carbs if I wanted to.
Don't get me wrong, I like keto and I've made muscle gains with a low-carb diet but running the numbers, dialing everything in, and eating clean every day will keep you lean regardless of carb intake.
wow, this is a great post, those videos are extremely informative about keto and how the body deals with carbs and fats. I just learned a bunch about fats that I didnt really understand totally. Thanks alot, I've been using a keto diet for years and always had decent fat loss results but gains have always been an issue. Now I have some insight into how to do both!!
