    The importance of happiness

    How important is happiness?

Is it something everyone should strive for, or is it a selfish thing? Should there be a price if your own personal happiness comes at the cost of someone else, whether it was unintentional or not?

Would you sacrifice your own happiness if it meant others around you were happy?

if you are a balanced, well developed individual, you would NOT be happy if your happiness made others unhappy. I take no pleasure in seeing others hurt, unless watching a UFC match, or I'm in one of "those moods".

I could not be happy if I knew it was at the cost of other people being unhappy. Im one of those who get happiness from knowing I am pleasing others. I have to be reminded most of the time I need to think about myself more.

No one will ever be truly 100% happy with all aspects of tere life because there happiness will always cause someones unhappiness. To find the perfect balance is what people should strive for.

How do you know if they are really happy? Alot of people play and say they are when deep down inside they are not..so I guess the question is..are they really happy, or are they just telling you they are happy?

The only way to know if you're happy is to know what it's like to be truly miserable.

After spending many years working in places that made me not that happy, and on more than one occasion neally lossing my life i now rack my happiness first, i help others but before anything else i do what i like (no that does not mean treating others like sh*t) but living the way you feel comfortable doing. Doing what makes you feel happy etc,,,, but i recognise that your need to money to do that.
As far as others go, if your truely happy that spreads out anyway,,, if it doesn't so what, you get one shot at life and at the end living a life that your happy with is what you will be thinking, not how much money you have, not what car you have etc
You need to find what life you want, for some it's marrage and family, for others its something else, just be true to you...

blah blah blah,,,,, off i go, stop now..lol
