    Talking Tennis elbow surgery...

    Anybody here ever have the tennis elbow release surgery? If so let me know what your post op was like, as I just had the surgery myself.

    If the pain persists for several months, surgery may be advised. Fortunately there are several options for treatment:

    * trim abnormal tendons 3-4 cm
    * release tendon from bone
    * ossatripsy

    Looks like a google answer. Haha. The three options are very different. The first two are invasive surgeries. The ossatripsy is a relatively new procedure and is not invasive.

    Seriously, a friend of mine had the release surgery about 2 yrs ago. He's as good as new. As far as recovery, he thought he was doomed as there is a risk that the surgery will not cure the condition. With rest and proper physical therapy he was gtg.

    Stay positive and do the PT. I hope your recovery goes well bro.
